The 21st Shanghai Auto Show was a buzz with countless new models from some of China’s biggest automotive brands. 

Chery Group was part of the action revealing an incredible 53 new models across its multiple brands, which includes the likes of Omoda Jaecoo, Exceed, Jetour, iCAR and Luxeed. 

Omoda Jaecoo lead the charge introducing the highly anticipated SHS (Super Hybrid System) versions of the Omoda C5 and C7. 

Utilising the same fifth-generation 1.5TGDI Dedicated Hybrid Engine (DHE) and an advanced Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) as the Jaecoo J7 SHS, the Omodas will deliver a total driving range of 1200km. 

OJ also debuted the Jaecoo J5 BEV providing another sustainable driving option within the brand’s growing model line-up.
