Omoda Jaecoo Australia continues to post positive sales result, with New Energy Vehicle (NEV) making up 74% of the brand’s total deliveries last month.
While July is traditionally a slower month for new car sales, Omoda Jaecoo still managed to record 2135 registrations, 1571 of which were electrified vehicles.
Leading the charge is the Jaecoo J5 EV with another 1262 sold last month, further cementing it as one of the Australia’s most popular electric vehicles.
Since its introduction, over 7700 J5s have been delivered, 7192 of these being EVs alone.
It was also the best-selling small electric SUV in May and the seventh most popular vehicle for the same month.
Across Super Hybrid and EV models, over 9000 cars have been delivered to customers in 2026, which accounts for 82.5% of all Omoda Jaecoo sales (10,943).
The brand is also celebrating similar success in other markets that also have a growing demand for new energy vehicles. Omoda Jaecoo recorded 56,188 global NEV sales in June, a 310% increase year-on-year.
In the UK alone, Omoda Jaecoo is the best-selling PHEV brand with the J7 SHS-P achieving 23,840 sales in the first half of 2026, making it the third most popular car within the country.
It’s a similar story in Brazil, Italy and Poland where the J7 once again placed inside the top three best-selling PHEV models within each market.
Back in Australia, Omoda Jaecoo is continuing to expand its NEV line up with the introduction of its next generation of Super Hybrid products. This includes the J5 SHS-H and the 7-seat J8 SHS-P.
Both SUVs are rolling into showrooms now.
